SARAJEVO, March 14 (Xinhua) -- Hungary-based budget airline Wizz Air said in an official press statement on Wednesday that it will open direct flights between Bosnia and Herzegovina's (BiH) city Tuzla and German city Baden-Baden on June 18, 2018.
Acting Head of Corporate Communications of Wizz Air Sorina Ratz said the newly established route will provide new opportunities to people traveling from BiH in reaching one of Europe's popular cities.
The flights will take place twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, the press statement said.
The city of Baden-Baden will be the seventh German destination offered from Tuzla International Airport, the second largest in BiH.
Currently, Tuzla International Airport connects BiH with a total of 15 destinations such as Dortmund, Eindhoven and Malmo.
Tuzla, the third largest city in BiH, is located some 110 km northeast of the capital Sarajevo.
