NAIROBI, May 12 (Xinhua) -- Former Tokyo marathon winner Sarah Chepchirchir, who ran a time of 2:19:47 last year, is the top entrant for the Dalian marathon on Sunday.
Chepchirchir faces Ethiopians Mulu Seboka, who holds a personal best time of 2:21:56 and Worknesh Edesa (2:24:04) and reigning champion Ednah Mukwanah (2:30:24).
"It feels great to return to action after a season out with injury," said Chepchirchir on Saturday.
"But running alone in training is different from competition and there are several top names out there to compete against for the win and I must have my best game to counter them."
