YANGON, July 28 (Xinhua) -- Three people were killed by a landslide in Myanmar's Shan state, the official Global New Light of Myanmar reported Saturday.
Due to the heavy rainfall, the landslide occurred in Mongkhoat and some road workers who were sleeping in a tent, were buried under stones and mud from the landslide, killing three.
Meanwhile, widespread rain and thundershowers are forecast for Shan, Kayin, Mon and Rakhine states, according to the meteorology and hydrology department.
