VIENNA, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- Europe's largest motorcycle manufacturer KTM has reported a 17-percent increase in motorcycles sold in 2017, reaching a record 239,000, it said on Thursday.
The company, based in Mattighofen in Austria, said the result has seen it expand on its position as the market leader in Europe.
It also marks the seventh-consecutive year it has set new records in its sales figures.
The company said it hopes to maintain this sales momentum in 2018, with the introduction of its Husqvarna line, and its new two-cylinder 790 Duke motorcycle.
