GARDEZ, Afghanistan, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) -- At least 11 people sustained injuries, some in critical conditions after two passenger vehicles collided on a road in the eastern Paktia province on Monday, a traffic police official said.
Blaming reckless driving for the accident, the official who declined to be identified said that investigation is underway.
Meantime, Asil Khan, director of Paktia's provincial health department, told Xinhua that 11 injured people including two children had been taken to civilian hospital in provincial capital Gardez city.
