GAZA, Feb. 21 (Xinhua) -- A 19-year-old Palestinian man on Wednesday died of wounds sustained last Friday during clashes with Israeli forces at the eastern border of the Gaza Strip, local medical source reported.

Ahmed Ahmad Abu Al-Helo, was injured during clashes between Palestinian demonstrators and Israeli soldiers last Friday, the spokesperson of Health Ministry in Gaza, Ashraf Al-Qidreh, said in a statement.

Abu Al-Helou was pronounced dead on Wednesday morning, the spokesperson added.

Mass protests and demonstrations have been held every Friday in Gaza and the West Bank against Israel since U.S. President Donald Trump declared Jerusalem as the capital of Israel last December.
