JAKARTA, Feb. 21 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia's cyclists will compete in championships in China's Hong Kong and in Vietnam in March, the team manager said here on Wednesday.
Team manager Budi Saputra said that the athletes are prepared to take part in the 18th Asian Games in the country this year.
The manager said that Indonesia will send male cyclists specializing in sprint to the Asian Cup Championships in China's Hong Kong.
Indonesia will send a woman's team to the Biwase Ladies Challenge championships in Vietnam, he added.
"We hope they can gain needed experience competing in international sporting events," Saputra said.
The Asia Cup is scheduled to be held at the end of March, and the Biwase Ladies Challenge championships will be held from March 16-17, he added.
