MACAO, Feb. 23 (Xinhua) -- Macao International Airport (MIA) recorded 120,000 passengers during the Chinese Lunar New Year holiday from Friday to Tuesday, an increase of 18 percent compared with that of the same period last year, according to the press release by the MIA on Friday.
It also handled over 900 flights during the five days, an increase of 14 percent compared with that of the same period last year, the press release added.
The MIA has attracted two new airlines flying to Macao earlier this year, and added three new international routes, including Kalibo of Philippines, Siem Reap of Cambodia and Bali of Indonesia.
