JAKARTA, Feb. 23 (Xinhua) -- Wrestling team of Indonesia has set a two gold medal target in the Asian Games this year in the country, manager of Indonesian wrestling team Gusti Randa revealed on Friday.
The medals are expected to be secured from men's free style 57kg and the women's free style 53kg, Randa said.
"But we still do not know whether any opportunity or not in other numbers," he said.
To reach the target, the manager said that the team will undergo practice overseas and have some try-out matches there.
Indonesia has picked up Bulgaria for the wrestlers to practice and undergo some friendly matches from April 21 to July 15, said Randa, who is also spokesman at the country's wrestling association.
"There are many international wrestlers in Bulgaria and we will have some matches there. After staying for 80 days there we will return to Indonesia," he was quoted by Juara media as saying.
Currently, 18 Indonesian wrestlers are undergoing exercise in Sukabumi district of West Java province in preparation for the Asian Games, Gusti added.
The 18th Asian Games is scheduled to be held in Indonesian capital of Jakarta and Palembang city, the provincial capital of South Sumatra province from Aug. 18 to Sept. 2.
