SHARAN, Afghanistan, Feb. 25 (Xinhua) -- At least four people were killed and 13 others injured as a motorbike bomb rocked Yahya Khil district in Afghanistan's eastern Paktika province on Sunday, police spokesman in the province, Shah Mohammad Aryan said.
"A terrorist planted explosive device in the cavities of a motorbike and detonated it in the bazaar of Yahya Khil district today morning, killing at least four people including one police and three civilians and injuring 13 others," Aryan told Xinhua.
However, a local on the condition of anonymity claimed that the number of casualties is higher than reported.
Meanwhile, Wali Gul, the head of Paktika's Provincial Health Department, has confirmed that four dead bodies had been taken to hospital in the provincial capital Sharan.
