GHAZNI, Afghanistan, July 10 (Xinhua) -- Taliban attack on Khogiani district in Afghanistan's eastern Ghazni province claimed the lives of four police, including a district police chief on Tuesday, a local official said.
"A group of Taliban insurgents attacked the headquarters of Khogiani district in the eastern Ghazni province in the wee hours of Tuesday, killing four police, including the district police chief," Aref Nuri, the spokesperson for provincial governor told Xinhua.
During the clash, nine militants were also killed, and the rest of the militants fled away, he added.
Taliban militants are yet to make a comment.
