LONDON, July 23 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Monday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 0.30 percent, or 23 points, to close at 7,655.79 points.
Ocado Group, an online grocery retailer, soared 5.54 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. WPP and DCC increased by 3.12 percent and 2.14 percent, respectively.
Taylor Wimpey, a residential developer, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 3.95 percent.
Fresnillo, a precious metals mining company, dropped 2.98 percent. Barratt Developments, a residential property development company, fell 2.97 percent. Enditem
