BERLIN, July 31 (Xinhua) -- The number of unemployed Germans continues to fall in July after seasonal adjustments, official figures published on Tuesday by the Federal Labor Office showed.
The Nuremburg-based government agency estimated the seasonally-adjusted number of inhabitants registered as unemployed to be 2.338 million, down by 6,000 people compared to the previous month.
A drop of 10,000 people was expected earlier by the market.
The unemployment rate stayed unchanged at 5.2 percent after adjustments, the lowest since German reunification.
"The development of the labour market is very favorable," a statement by Federal Labor agency director Detlef Scheele read.
"But it is no longer as buoyant as before," Scheele said.
