NEW YORK, Aug. 10 (Xinhua) -- The NBA released its complete game schedule for the 2018-19 regular season as a total of 1,230 games will be played between Oct. 16, 2018, and April 10, 2019.
The opening round features clashes between the Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder, and Philadelphia 76ers versus Boston Celtics.
Three-time champion Lebron James will make his debut with Lakers against Portland Trail Blazers on October 18 and greet the home crowd two days later in the game against Houston Rockets. The four-time league MVP will return to Cleveland against the Cavaliers on November 21.
LeBron James and Stephen Curry will be the headliners for the NBA's Christmas Day with the Lakers traveling to face defending champion Warriors. The Christmas Day also has the Rockets versus the Thunder, the Boston Celtics visiting Philadelphia 76ers.
Among other key contests, waived by San Antonio, Toronto Raptors' Kawhi Leonard will make his return on January 3 and then have home match against his former side on February 22.
