MOGADISHU, Aug. 12 (Xinhua) -- Somali security forces on Sunday killed one al-Shabab militant who murdered a civilian at Suk-ba'ad market, the second biggest market in the capital Mogadishu, officials said.
"National security forces killed the terrorist in Suk-ba'ad market north of the capital today, and recovered his gun. The militant murdered a civilian on the spot at the market," the state news agency quoted Minister of Internal Security Mohamed Abukar Islow as saying.
The al-Qaida allied terrorist group did not comment on the latest killing of their fighter by government forces.
