ST. PETERSBURG, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) -- The highest skyscraper in Europe, Lakhta Center in St. Petersburg, costs at least 155 billion rubles (2.3 billion U.S. dollars).
RIA Novosti reported that such cost is registered in the materials of Gazprom Neft, which owns 100-percent shares of the company engaged in the construction of the 462-meter-high skyscraper.
Lakhta Center will become a public and business complex in St. Petersburg, as well as Gazprom headquarters. Construction started in 2012, and the complex is planned to be completed in 2018.
