RABAT, Sept. 2 (Xinhua) -- President of the Moroccan Employers' Association (CGEM) will attend the sixth conference of Chinese and African entrepreneurs, to be held in Beijing on the sidelines of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC).
According to Sunday's statement, Salaheddine Mezouar, president of CGEM, will lead an important delegation of Moroccan entrepreneurs representing various sectors to participate in the high-level dialogue between Chinese and African leaders and economic stakeholders.
The participation of the CGEM in the conference is part of "the exceptional partnership" between China and Morocco, aiming to boost the development of the African continent and its sustainable development, the source said.
Discussions at the conference will further enhance exchanges and cooperation between business communities of China and Africa in several areas, including industrialization, trade and infrastructure, it noted.
Through this high-level meeting, the CGEM underscores the kingdom's commitment to South-South cooperation and highlights Morocco's key role as a regional economic force firmly committed to a win-win partnership with China, with the aim of boosting job creation and inclusive growth on the African continent, it added.
China will host more than 1,000 African representatives from over 600 enterprises, business groups, and research institutions at the upcoming conference of Chinese and African entrepreneurs.
The conference will also focus on measures to facilitate African exports and help African companies integrate into the global value chain, as well as expand China-African trade.
