NEW DELHI, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay an official visit to India from Oct. 4-5, said official sources in ministry of external affairs on Friday.

Putin will be here to participate in the 19th India-Russia annual bilateral summit, they added.

During the visit President Putin will hold official talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and also have a meeting with the President of India Ram Nath Kovind, besides holding other official engagements.
