DUBAI, Oct. 16 (Xinhua) -- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Tuesday expressed the keenness to further develop its ties with Romania, during a visit by Romanian Prime Minister Viorica Dancila.
UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum welcomed Dancila's visit during a meeting that reviewed the bilateral relations and ways to enhance them in varied fields, the state news agency WAM reported.
The Romanian prime minister emphasized her country's desire to boost cooperation "in various domains" with the UAE.
She also wished that the bilateral relations would witness further development and progress.
Dancila praised UAE's pioneering roles in regional and global arenas, while confirming her country's participation in Expo 2020 Dubai.
The expo will be held from Oct. 20, 2020 till April 10, 2021 under the theme "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future."
