BARCELONA, Spain, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- The emblematic building "La Pedrera" built by famous architect Antoni Gaudi, has launched the Chinese language version of its website.
The building, one of the most visited in Spain and one of the most famous built by Gaudi along with Sagrada Familia and Casta Batllo in Spain's eastern city of Barcelona, opens the door to receive more Chinese tourists giving information in their language.
"It's a big surprise for me to find this website in Chinese, I didn't expect it!" Guo Benlu, a Chinese tourist who used the website, told Xinhua. He believes that it will definitely attract more Chinese tourists to the building.
"With the information in Chinese it provides" he said, "I feel a lot easier to book the tickets, and especially in understanding its historical and artistic value."
The website can be read in four languages: Catalan, Spanish, English and Chinese.
La Pedrera was declared a World Heritage Site in 1984 and nowadays is also a cultural center that organizes concerts and other activities.
