RABAT, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- The number of passengers in Moroccan airports reached 18.8 million during the first ten months of 2018, up 10.14 percent year on year, the Moroccan Airports Authority (ONDA) said Wednesday.
Between January and October, 8.2 million passengers travelled through Morocco's largest airport, the Mohammed V airport, representing some 43.75 percent of the total number of the passengers, ONDA statistics show.
Meanwhile, the Marrakech-Menara airport received 4.27 million passengers, while Al Massira airport in the city of Agadir recorded 1.6 million passengers.
In October alone, Morocco's airports posted an air traffic volume of 1.95 million passengers, compared to 1.7 million in the same month of 2017.
Last year, air traffic in Morocco reached a record high of more than 20.35 million people, 11.63-percent growth year-on-year. Enditem
