BUENOS AIRES, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) -- Leaders of the emerging economies' bloc BRICS on Friday reached broad consensus on upholding multilateralism as well as the rules-based global order on the sidelines of the G20 summit here.
At the informal meeting chaired by South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, who is currently the BRICS rotating chair, the leaders also had an in-depth exchange of views on global economy, the various challenges facing the world and the cooperation within BRICS.
Chinese President Xi Jinping, Brazilian President Michel Temer, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the event.
