KABUL, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- At least four national intelligence agency officers and an assailant were killed and six people wounded after a suicide car bomb blast struck a military convoy in western Kabul on Tuesday, an Interior Ministry official said.
"A suicide car bombing targeted a National Directorate of Security (NDS) running convoy roughly at 9:20 a.m. local time in Bala Chinar area of Paghman district. The blast claimed the lives of four NDS officers and the attacker," the official who declined to be named told Xinhua.
The injured were also from NDS, the country's primary intelligence agency, the source said, adding that several military vehicles were also damaged in the attack.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
The Afghan capital city has been hit by series of terror attacks over the past couple of years.
