WARSAW, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) -- Two people were killed and one seriously injured after a train collided with a vehicle in the southeast of Poland on Wednesday, local authorities said.
The accident took place at an unguarded railway crossing in the city of Rzeszow when a car came across the railway without noticing the coming train.
According to Podkarpacie firefighters, there were 3 people in the car, one of whom died at the spot and another died on the way to the hospital. The injured was taken to the hospital.
Local media reported that the impact was so strong that the car was pushed by the train to a distance of about 150 meters.
