TUNIS, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) -- Tunisian Prime Minister Youssef Chahed will pay an official visit to Switzerland on Jan. 22-23 and attend the 2019 World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos on Jan. 22-25, according to Tunis Afrique Presse on Tuesday.
Chahed is accompanied by the Minister of Development, Investment and International Cooperation, Zied Laadhari.
Chahed will meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and President of Rwanda, Paul Kagame, in addition to a number of world leaders.
Tunisia aims to develop diplomatic and economic relations with many other countries, as well as to attract the necessary investment for the revival of the national economy.
The WEF Annual Meeting brings together governments, international organizations, business, civil society, media, and experts from all countries, to discuss the economic and political issues facing the world.
