OSLO, Feb. 4 (Xinhua) -- The Norwegian Seafood Council advises Norwegian suppliers to export as much as possible seafood to Britain before the country leaves the EU and the EEA on March 29, news agency NTB reported Monday.
Nobody knows what the reality after the Brexit on March 29 will be, Hans Frode Kielland Asmyhr from the council told Aftenposten.
The UK's leave of EU without an agreement will likely bring more customs, the report said.
According to the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO), "Norway negotiates with the British for an emergency solution agreement that can prevent the introduction of customs."
The Norwegian Ministry of Trade and Industry stated that Norway and Iceland are currently in talks with Britain, in order to ensure continuation of the current customs level and rules.
The negotiations are to be finalized by the end of February, NTB reported.
