Spectators take selfies with Suresh Subramaniam after his Chinese Sichuan Opera face-changing performance in Kuala Lampur, capital of Malaysia, Feb. 15, 2019. Suresh Subramaniam has been a fan of magic since he was little. Seven years ago, when Suresh was 21, he met a Chinese face-changing master and studied the face-changing technique from the master for a month. Suresh has kept practicing since then, and now he is capable of staging performances with his own personal touch. Surech says it has been an honor to learn the face-changing technique and get to know more about Chinese culture. He hopes to keep practicing and performing, and bring elements of other cultures into his show. (Xinhua/Chong Voon Chung)
