TUNIS, Feb. 27 (Xinhua) -- Syria's reintegration in the Arab League will be among the issues to be discussed at the next Arab League summit held in Tunisia, Tunisian presidential spokeswoman Saida Qarash said Wednesday.
"This issue was presented at the recent League of Arab States (LAS)-European Union (EU) Summit in Egypt," said Qarash, adding that the conflicts taking place in the Arab region should be resolved through political compromises.
According to the spokeswoman, Syria's membership has been suspended in the Arab League since October 2011.
"Tunisia, as a host of the Arab League summit, can not make the decision alone," Qarash stressed.
Qarash insisted that Tunisia should respect the Syrian people who have the full right to decide their fate and choose their leader.
