Huang Xingqi (L) and her twin sister Huang Xingyi have free lunch at kindergarden in Yuping Dong Autonomous County of Tongren, southwest China's Guizhou Province, Feb. 28, 2019. Under a poverty alleviation campaign in winter 2007, four-year-old twin sisters Huang Xingqi and Huang Xingyi relocated with their parents from an impoverished mountain village to the Yunqi settlement in Yuping County. The twin sisters were enrolled in a nearby kindergarten in September 2018. The family, which is from the local Dong ethnic group, had lived in a battered plank house back on the mountain before moving to their present three-storey residence, which offers substantially improved living conditions.
