XI'AN, March 20 (Xinhua) -- The 4th Silk Road International Expo will be held in May in Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi Province and shed light on poverty-relief and international cooperation.
An international forum about international cooperation on poverty-relief will also be held during the event to provide China's experience on global poverty-relief work, according to the provincial government.
"The forum will focus on China's achievements in poverty-relief, and how to transform China's experience to the global community," said Li Jianyi, with the executive committee of the expo.
A series of meetings on free trade, education and business cooperation will also be held, Li said.
China has set 2020 as its target to finish building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and completely eradicate poverty.
