KUWAIT CITY, April 3 (Xinhua) -- Kuwait opened on Wednesday the third phase of the Bait Al-Othman Museum, a historic museum in Kuwait located in Hawalli Governorate.
At the opening ceremony, Mohammad Al-Jabri, Kuwait's minister of information and minister of state for youth affairs, said that the museum is a great addition to the cultural and educational field in the country.
He hailed the cooperative work between the ministry of education and Kuwait volunteer work center, adding that this cooperation is a new start of the museum to continue its educational and cultural mission.
"This work was the result of fruitful efforts led by the head of the volunteer work center Sheikha Amthal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and the head of the team of heritage Sabah village, Anwar Al-Rifai, who revived the museum to tell the history of Kuwait, represented by exhibits and historical materials that give an expressive image of Kuwait's culture," he noted.
