TEHRAN, April 8 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Judiciary chief said on Monday that the decision by the United States to put Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) on its blacklist of foreign terrorist organizations is doomed to fail, Press TV reported.
"This measure has no value either in political or legal terms in the eyes of the world's governments and nations," Ebrahim Raeisi was quoted as saying.
"The U.S. administration is a hated government that is responsible for grave crimes in the West Asia region and the rest of the world," Raeisi said.
U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday said that the United States designates IRGC as a "foreign terrorist organization," a move that will further worsen U.S.-Iran relations and is expected to further complicate the Middle East situation.
