KUWAIT CITY, April 9 (Xinhua) -- Kuwait is following up with the U.S. decision to designate Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a "foreign terrorist organization," the Kuwaiti deputy foreign minister said Monday evening.
Khaled Al-Jarallah made the remarks on the sidelines of a ceremony held by the Argentine Embassy in Kuwait to mark the South American country's national day.
"It is still early to talk about details about the decision," he noted.
On the Gulf crisis, he expressed his country's optimism to reach a solution, pointing out that the mechanisms of meetings in the Gulf Cooperation Council continued in the presence of all the Gulf parties.
U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Monday the designation of IRGC as a foreign terrorist organization.
