BEIJING, April 26 (Xinhua) -- The Beijing Municipal Intellectual Property Office said on Friday that it has intensified the research on the intellectual property system and environment in Belt and Road countries so as to help Chinese companies develop in those countries.
According to the city's action plan of co-building the Belt and Road from 2018 to 2020, the office is expected to compile a guideline on intellectual property work to enhance overseas intellectual property prewarning and rights protection.
So far, the office has published a series of books on the intellectual property systems in 22 Belt and Road countries, and a collection of 36 typical intellectual property disputes cases in 17 countries.
This year the office has planned to establish a Belt and Road intellectual property service alliance, finish the guideline on intellectual property work, and launch overseas services to guide companies in handling intellectual property cases in Belt and Road countries.
