LOS ANGELES, April 28 (Xinhua) -- The 30th Southern California Spring Garden Show from April 25 to 28, held by a high-end retail shopping mall South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, California, presented plants from all around the world to plant lovers.
The garden show featured 50 unique plant and garden vendors and 10 display gardens that have brought people the ideas for outdoor living and gardens.
It has drawn more than 100,000 visitors, who came to enjoy China's windmill palm and lady palm, the Philippines' clumping fishtail, Chamaerops humilis from the Mediterranean basin, and phoenix reclinata from Africa.
"The show is unique as it brings together plants from all over the world and we highlight gardens this year because they have universal appeal, transcending geography and culture," said Debra Gunn Downing, spokeswoman for South Coast Plaza.
The garden show also provided tours of palm varieties led by horticulture experts and more than 70 seminars on topics such as composting, micro-irrigation, herbs and succulents.
