JERUSALEM, June 1 (Xinhua) -- Two projectiles were launched from Syria towards Israel on Saturday night, causing no injuries, the Israeli army said.
The projectiles, rockets or mortars, were launched towards Mount Hermon in the Israeli-annexed Golan Heights, a military spokesperson said in a statement.
The Hebrew-language Channel 12 TV news reported that the army is looking into the incident to discover whether the fire was intentional or spillover from battles in Syria.
Israel frequently retaliates such incidents with fire at Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's army positions.
