NAPLES, Italy, July 2 (Xinhua) -- The Napoli 2019 Summer Universiade Athletes' Village is considered as a fun place for many Chinese students who told Xinhua on Tuesday that they really enjoy the life on the cruise ships at the port of Napoli.
Cao Lizhi from Tianjin University of Sport said it was his first time to live on ships and the surroundings brought comfort every day.
"Every morning the sunshine comes from the balcony and the weather is really fantastic. The sea is right there out of the windows," Cao said. "The cuisine is good and there are also gym and swimming pool on the ship. It is much better than my imagination."
The first day might be a bit fancy for him because he felt a bit moving while taking the shower and everything went fit two days later.
The 21-year-old Shen Yi from Nanjing University of Sport said she had been to many coastal cities and Napoli owns the most beautiful sea she's ever seen.
"It feels good to live on the ships. I'm very happy to be here with local food like pizza and spaghetti. I've never seen such blue sea and I really enjoy the life on the ships. I can communicate with some foreign students. They are all very friendly and we talked in English and body languages as well."
Leng Minghong, a school mate of Shen, believed it'd be very romantic to walk on the deck during the sunset period. "I'm so happy to be one of the sailors here. The sunset is very late and I can lie on the deck to see the sun go down. It's so beautiful," said the 19-year-old girl.
Huang Bowen, junior from Guangzhou University of Sport, praised the views from the ship. "I haven't got the time to go to the downtown for sight-seeing tour for there is so much fun here on the ship."
