LUSAKA, July 5 (Xinhua) -- Stand-in coach of the Zambia national soccer team Aggrey Chiyangi on Friday unveiled a 25-member squad to prepare for the second round, first leg of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) against Botswana.
Zambia will play Botswana in an away match for the CHAN qualifiers on July 27.
Team manager Desmond Mg'awa, who released the names, said the team will enter camp on July 7 to start preparations for the game.
Zambia will be away to Botswana at the Francistown Sports Complex on July 27 and host the Zebras on the weekend of August 2-4.
Winner over two legs will play either Eswatini or Angola in the final qualifying round for the Cameroon 2020 CHAN, which only features players from the local leagues.
