LUSAKA, July 25 (Xinhua) -- Zambian national soccer team coach Aggrey Chiyangi said his players are ready to face Botswana in the coming African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier on Friday.
All the players were physical fit as his team doctors handed in a clean bill of health for his team members, said Chiyangi on Thursday.
"The doctors have given us a report, there are no injuries. The team spirit is excellent, the moral is high, and we just have to do better tomorrow. The team is ready for business tomorrow," the coach said in statement posted on the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) website.
The Chipolopolo (Copper Bullets) will play the Zebras on Friday at the Francistown Sports Complex in Francistown, Botswana, with the return leg in Lusaka on August 3.
Winner will play either eSwatini or Angola in the final qualifying round for the Cameroon 2020 CHAN tournament which only features players in the African leagues. Enditem
