The collaboration will produce a variety of small products, such as stationary, with designs and patterns provided by the Forbidden City's museum.
BEIJING, July 29 (Xinhua) -- The Palace Museum has collaborated with Miniso Corp, a low-cost retailer and variety store chain, to offer consumers products themed with one of the country's most valuable cultural heritages, China Daily reported Monday.
Miniso's new product line includes more than 100 items in 10 categories including fragrances, notebooks and water bottles designed with colors and patterns provided by the Palace Museum.
"Our mission is to bring the 600-year-old Palace Museum and its traditional culture closer to young people's lifestyle and to bring traditional culture alive to bond with today's consumers," the newspaper quoted Wang Fei, director of the intellectual property department at the museum, as saying.
