RIYADH, Aug. 10 (Xinhua) -- Saudi-led coalition involved in a war in Yemen demanded on Saturday an immediate cease-fire in Aden, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The spokesperson of the coalition Turki Al Maliki said that the cease-fire should be effective from 1 a.m. after the midnight of Saturday. He warned of military step against violators.
The coalition demanded the military groups in the temporary capital of Yemen, Aden, to withdraw from areas they occupied in recent days and keep away from government and private property.
The spokesperson urged the disputed groups to avoid being influenced by the sedition of the Houthi militia, and other militant groups such as Al-Qaeda and the Islamic State (IS) in Yemen.
Meanwhile, an official source from the Saudi Foreign Ministry announced his country's invitation to the political groups in Yemen to discuss their affairs in an urgent meeting in Riyadh.
