LUSAKA, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- Zambian President Edgar Lungu on Tuesday consoled his Tanzanian counterpart John Magufuli following an oil tanker explosion that killed at least 60 people and injured 70 others on Saturday.
The Zambian leader said in his message of condolences that he was deeply saddened by the loss of 60 people who perished in a fire accident which also left more than 70 others seriously injured after the accident which occurred in Morogoro.
He said the people of Zambia commiserates with the people of Tanzania during the trying and tragic moment and prays that God grants fortitude and solace to the bereaved families and the entire nation to bear the great loss.
